EA releases two new Medal of Honor multiplayer modes

If you’ve been playing Medal of Honor and fiending for some new multiplayer options, EA has released two new modes for the PC, 360 and PS3. The elimination mode, Clean Sweep, comes with two new maps (Bagram Hanger and Khyler Caves) and redesigned editions of Skaikhot Base and Helmand Valley Base.

Hot Zone, available for $9.99 or 800 MS points, has teams fight for control in a “King of the Hill” style gameplay. Two new maps come with this mode: Hindukush Pass and Korengal Outpost. You’ll also find redesigned versions of Shahikot Mountains and Helmand Valley. Playing Hot Zone will also enter you in for a shot at winning several prizes including Medal of Honor skinned consoles. In addition to the two new multiplayer modes, EA announced that players will be able to play with the development team on November 6th and 7th at 1-4pm PST. November 6th is reserved for 360 players, while the session on November 4th will be on the PS3.
Clean Sweep is a free* multiplayer elimination mode where players must rely on their own skills and teammates’ expertise to prevail as the winning team. This exhilarating mode is playable across two all-new maps called Bagram Hanger and Khyler Caves as well as redesigned versions of Shaikhot Base and Helmand Valley Base.

Hot Zone is a multiplayer mode that features “King of the Hill” gameplay where teams fight over a designated location on a map; the team who holds their position longest prevails. This adrenaline-fueled mode is playable across two all-new maps called Hindukush Pass and Korengal Outpost as well as redesigned versions of the popular Shahikot Mountains and Helmand Valley maps. Hot Zone will be available via Xbox LIVE™ Marketplace for 800 MS points, on PlayStation®Network for $9.99USD and on PC exclusively via the EA Store™ for $9.99USD.
