EA Sports frontrunning WiiMotionPlus

Not to be outdone by Nintendo and their minigame-filled Wii Sports Resort, EA Sports is stepping up their game with Wii MotionPlus-enabled titles starting this summer.  Our old buddy Peter Moore promises five MotionPlus-enhanced games before the end of the year, starting with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and Grand Slam Tennis, both of which launch on June 16th.  It's great to see a mainstream publisher being so gung-ho about MotionPlus; EA's enthusiasm will ensure plenty of momentum for the peripheral.  The boxy little Wii remote add-on essentially fixes the Wii's motion sensing capability, finally adding true 1:1 precision to games.  Hopefully Nintendo supports their own peripheral as much as EA does; if it can make a new Tiger Woods more realistic than any previous golf game, I can't begin to Imagine what it could do for Zelda or Metroid.
