Last week, Sean Cahill posted that League of Legends's second season is right around the corner.  Today, Riot Games has revealed some details about the upcoming season.

Aside from the previously announced $5 million prize pool, teams will earn points by competing in high-profile tournaments from top eSports organizers, such as Major League Gaming and IGN Pro League.  At the end of the season, the teams that have accumulated the most Circuit Points will face off for the right to take on the world at the League of Legends Season Two Championship to compete against teams from different regions in hopes of winning $5 million.

On top of that, Riot has also announced the debut of their Spectator Mode in the form of a limited beta.  This will be available in custom games during designated testing periods over the coming days.
