Darksiders II Avatar collection on Xbox Live

by: Nathaniel -
More On: Darksiders II
You can dress your Xbox Live Avatar up anyway you want - anything from hipster to Commander Shepard (and even hipster Commander Shepard) is just a few clicks (and/or Microsoft points) away.  And now you'll be able to add Death to the list of possible appearances.  No, I don't mean how you looked like death after a 72 hour Red Bull bender.  This Death is less vomit on your shirt and more four horsemen of the apocalypse trampling your face.

Starting today, you'll be able to purchase a full range of Darksiders II items.  These items are the standard sets of armor, props, and clothing and will stab you in the wallet for anywhere from 80 to 400 (Microsoft) points of damage.

Unfortunately, there's nothing for PS3 users right now, but premium items are expected to come out later this year.

Finally, THQ is giving away a free Xbox Live Avatar t-shit designed by game creator Joe Mad while supplies last.  Visit www.facebook.com/Darksiders to learn how to get yours.

About Darksiders II
Awakened by the End of Days, Death, the most feared of the legendary Four Horsemen embarks on a quest to redeem his brother's name. Become the terrifying force which everything fears but nothing can escape.

The original Darksiders®, released in January 2010, received critical acclaim including the Best Fantasy Game 2010 award from IGN. Darksiders followed the story of WAR, wrongly accused of starting the apocalypse, on a quest to reclaim lost honor and take revenge on those who wronged him.
