Crysis 3: now with 100% more grav-hammers

by: Nathaniel -
More On: Crysis 3
The multiplayer portion of Crysis 3 is a hell-storm of modes with variations on variations to go along with its handful of things you've seen before.  To master it, I'd imagine one would be forced to specialize in one or two modes.  If that describes you, then hopefully you're ready to specialize in something else because Crysis 3: The Lost Island will transport Crysis 3 multiplayer to a lost island - specifically a small island only 200 miles from Ling Shan, a.k.a - the setting for the original Crysis.  Rebels have been deployed to destroy the newly discovered alien tech before Cell can take it to use as another tool in their grand scheme to rule the world.

For 1200 Microsoft points ($14.99), you'll get four new maps, two brand-new multiplayer modes called Frenzy and Possession, and deadly new arsenal of weapons including, as per the screenshots, what appears to be a gravity hammer.  Does that mean Crysis and Halo take place in the same universe? (Of course not.)  Let the speculation begin!

Crysis 3: The Lost Island will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 starting on June 4.
