Guitar Hero 5's uncanny valley is legally actionable, or how it is a surprise to his widow and estate shareholder Courtney Love, but she's
resolved to take Activision to court over it. I'm really surprised she's raising a stink about it, I thought most of the legalities were worked out extensively for this sort of thing just to get big-name musicians like Cobain, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix into Guitar Hero, but apparently there was some miscommunication. If having Cobain sing Bon Jovi or Duran Duran in your Guitar Hero 5 is important to you, you might want want to grab a copy of the game before the legal melee starts and the game is potentially reissued, sans the Nirvana frontman.
