While looking through the MTV Multiplayer
notes from the Activision/Vivendi merger this morning I noticed the comment that Activision is going to turn
Call of Duty and
Guitar Hero franchises into annual games much like they have with the Tony Hawk series. While I always like the Call of Duty series I'm not sure that getting a new Call of Duty each year is really what the franchise needs or deserves. I would hate to see the franchise get stale and forced and I'm not sure Infinity Ward is going to want to crank out CoD titles every year.
