CES 2009: Microsoft gaming at their booth

Sean and I had an appointment over in the LVCC Central hall this morning, so when we arrived and found a vacant booth, we decided to take our newly found free time and swing back up front to the Microsoft booth to check out their lineup of games they had on display.

Unlike last year when there wasn’t a single Xbox 360 on display, they had several available and showing some new and unreleased titles. Up and running were recent titles Scene It? Light Camera Action and Lips, as well as the playable versions of the unreleased titles Halo Wars and Banjo Kazooie. I played a bit of Banjo and Sean spent some time with Halo Wars. We will post the impression later along with some video we shot of the gameplay.

There also were several Games for Windows titles, with the most notable being Relic and THQ’s Dawn of War II. Sean was able to spend about 20 minutes getting a demo of the game from the guys from Relic and will post an impression in the near future.
