The big rumor today is
Bungie will no longer be sole property of Microsoft. These guys spent many many years producing the entire
Halo series so it's natural they want to move on. Microsoft keeps the Halo franchise though so they can probably put out one or two more games using that property and milk it for what it's worth. Would Halo succeed if people know Bungie isn't working on it? Possible as other franchises have sold ok without their original author. Perhaps Bungie will now branch out to other consoles and if I were Nintendo or Sony I'd be talking to them as soon as possible.
