Bomberman ready to blow up Konami

Reports from Japan state that Konami has entered into the final stages of taking over Hudson Games. Konami has been in the position of Hudson’s parent company since 2005 but will soon become sole owner. On April 1, Hudson will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Konami.
There shouldn’t be many, if any, changes in terms of what the public sees from both companies aside from a change on the labels appearing on various games. Konami will absorb the development teams and popular IP’s/ titles under their name while replacing the Hudson CEO with Konami Digital Entertainment’s Kazuhiko Uehara.
I am just hoping that this leads to more frequent Bomberman releases...
