If you didn't buy the season pass for Batman Arkham Origins, the first round of DLC is available for individual purchase. It includes a number of alternate costumes in the Infinite Earths pack, which can be used in challenge maps and single player, once you complete the campaign. The Black Mask Challenge Pack adds two new challenge maps, and if you own the Deathstroke pack as well you can play as Deathstroke too. Finally, Supply Drop #1 adds some new skins and weapons to the multiplayer mode. Check the break for full DLC details and price breakdown.
To be honest, I was afraid this would happen. Packing an entirely superfluous multiplayer into Arkham Origins felt cheap to begin with and as expected, they're using it to nickle and dime early adopters with periodic DLC drops. I was a huge fan of the first two games, but I've noticed a trend with threequels over the last generation; once something like this gets popular and profitable enough, it loses some of its integrity and shifts toward peddling DLC. I'm still intrigued by Arkham Origins but for now, I'm glad I held off on buying it. I think I'll put some of that money I saved toward some indie purchases on the autumn Steam sale.
