EA is prepping a new package for their hit title Battlefield: Bad Company 2
. The “Ultimate Edition” was unveiled yesterday and looks to be the penultimate package of the game.

Ultimate Edition contains all of the previously released DLC on the game disc (including Onslaught mode), VIP content, limited edition unlocks, as well a copy of Battlefield 1943. The set is retailing for $59.99, which is just slightly less than the cost of all of the contents is they were purchased separately (main game now retails for $39.99, 1942 is $14.99, and Onslaught Mode sells for $9.99). It’s not a horiible deal, by any means, but I wonder if they would see marginally more success releasing it at $49.99.
