Capcom has plenty of plans to extend the Asura’s Wrath experience beyond the game’s recent release. The company has announced a series of episodic DLC entries which will serve as additional “episodes” of the game’s story. So far, 2 episodes have been announced, but there could be more on the way. Each pack will utilize a different “artistic design” and bring a new look to the series. Both tell tales of events that happened between the episodes presented in the retail game. While the specific release date hasn’t been confirmed, these packs are expected to release soon.
Another DLC pack that has been announced for the future is one that will bring the worlds of Asura’s Wrath and Street Fighter together in an epic battle. Later this year, Capcom will release an episode which has Asura facing off against the wandering warrior Ryu. Let’s be honest, I think we all knew Asura would end up in one of Capcom’s fighting games eventually. Just look at him, he was made for fighting!
