Without further ado, Assassin's Creed has made its way onto store shelves.  And, as this gameplay trailer overtly hints, there's more going on than just riding Red Dead Revolver-style across ancient Palestine.  You may think you know, but you have no idea.
UBISOFT ANNOUNCES ASSASSIN'S CREED(TM) VIDEO GAME NOW AVAILABLE IN STORES

SAN FRANCISCO - November 14, 2007 - Today Ubisoft, one of the world's
largest video game publishers, announced its highly anticipated Assassin's
Creed(TM) video game is now available in retail stores nationwide in North
America. Easily one of the most anticipated games for the holiday season and
the game has arrived on the PLAYSTATIONR3 computer entertainment system and
the Xbox 360R video game and entertainment system from Microsoft at the MSRP
of $59.99 with the Limited Edition priced at $69.99. It is rated "M" for
Mature by the ESRB.
