Astro Gaming and Major League Gaming have had a tight relationship basically since Astro got into the headphone space. The day I saw the preview version of the A40, they already had plans for an MLG edition, and have sold both the MLG edition and MLG speaker tags since the units release. Now they're getting further into bed together (oooh, kinky) as Astro will be the official headset of MLG this year.
Hopefully this will go better for Astro than being the official headset of PAX. At PAX East it seemed every headset I saw was aTRITTON. Also, hopefully the MLG guys aren't really like they are in this classic episode of Arby 'n' the Chief: (warning: NSFW)
