Well this is something I'm not sure that I never expected to see. According to the NPD numbers that were
released yesterday Activision is now the number one third party developer, catapulting past Electronic Arts for the first time in a decade. The main driver (or Toyota Camry for those looking for a automotive reference) is the amazing success of
Guitar Hero II. It will be interesting to see if Activision can hold onto that lead for the rest of the year but congrats to Activision for pulling ahead.
