ATI announces the X1000 line of GPUs

by: Chuck -
More On:
ATI has sent word about their latest line of GPUs. The X1000 line of cards consist of the X1800, X1600, and X1300. Funny thing is the press release says tye X1800 and X1300 are available immediatly but I can't find anything on the net. You should see a plethora of sites with previews on the card and from the looks of it, it does trade blows with the GeForce 7800 line. It's not a 7800 killer but another choice from another manufacturer.

- Side note from Charles - Dean Takahashi has a little post in his blog about why the X1000 series is behind schedule.
