More On: World of Tanks World of Warplanes
Wargaming.net is one the European game industry's most visible success stories, rocketing to prominence in the past few years with World of Tanks. It's only fitting, then, that Wargaming is coming back to Germany's GamesCom this year, and they're making the first big push with World of Warplanes since the game entered closed beta. If you're lucky enough to attend the show, Wargaming will have plenty of kiosks available for both Tanks and Planes, sporting Razer hardware to put the final touches on the experience. Wargaming Taking Off to Gamescom 2012

24th July, 2012 — Wargaming today announced its presence at Gamescom 2012, the world's largest trade fair for interactive entertainment to be held at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, from Aug. 15-19, 2012. The company will be showcasing its key free-to-play MMO action games World of Tanks and World of Warplanes.

"Wargaming's global momentum continues to soar and at Gamescom we will showcase the closed beta for our highly anticipated World of Warplanes MMO," said Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi. "With tanks dominating the battlegrounds, we're now taking combat to the skies and World of Warplanes delivers a fun, action-filled experience set in the 'Golden Age' of military aviation."

Located at Booth A-030 in Hall 8 and occupying more than 500 square meters, the Wargaming booth will come equipped with 20 powerful Alienware high-end gaming machines for World of Tanks, as well as 20 stations for World of Warplanes. High-quality mouse, keyboards, mousepads and headsets by Razer will offer maximum realism and easy-to-grasp controls in each gameplay session. SteelSeries will provide an exclusive branded mousepad to every visitor of Wargaming booth.

This year's exhibition will feature 557 exhibitors from 39 different countries with more than 300,000 expected visitors.
