Los Angeles – May 9, 2011 – ZEN Studios is proud to unveil ZEN Pinball THD, an optimized version of its hit PlayStation 3 game, for NVIDIA® TegraTM-powered smart phones and tablets.

ZEN Pinball THD will be available soon on Tegra Zone, a free app on Android Market™ that provides a one-stop destination for the richest games for Tegra-powered super phones or tablets.

Available for the first time on any mobile platform, ZEN Pinball THD harnesses the power of Tegra’s GeForce® GPU and dual-core CPU to produce a hyper-realistic, graphically-rich pinball gaming experience. The game sets a new standard for realistic ball physics and graphical detail in pinball video games employing cutting-edge visuals, challenging tables, true-to-life ball and table physics and combines them with innovative features not found in any other pinball game.

With a variety of in-game missions, head-to-head online multiplayer bouts and multi-day worldwide tournaments, ZEN Pinball THD offers the ultimate arcade experience for casual gamers and pinball enthusiasts alike, now on Tegra-powered super phones and tablets.

“We’re really impressed with the never-before-seen experiences that Tegra brings to mobile devices,” said Zsolt Kigyossy, Managing Director for ZEN Studios. “ZEN Pinball THD really takes advantage of Tegra’s graphics power for out-of-this-world detail and realism. It looks absolutely stunning. Pinball fans are going to love it.”

Ashu Rege, Vice President of Content and Technology at NVIDIA, added: “ZEN Pinball is one of the best arcade games on game consoles. And ZEN Studios is bringing that same experience to mobile devices for the very first time. It speaks volumes they’ve chosen Tegra as the platform to make this happen.”

ZEN Pinball THD features several different vibrant, 3D tables, including the Sorcerer’s Lair table. ZEN Studios will be showing the Sorcerer’s Lair table for ZEN Pinball THD at the 2011 Google I/O Developer Conference in San Francisco from May 10-11, 2011. Attendees and press are welcome to stop by the Developer Sandbox for a demonstration.

Sorcerer’s Lair is set in an ancient magical Citadel, with players assuming the role of a brother and sister duo who find themselves outmatched by an evil Sorcerer. In order to survive the Sorcerer’s arsenal of attacks, including skeletons, spiders and ghosts, the pair must uncover magical secrets that will aid in their offense. Befriended by Whisper, a friendly ghost trapped in the Citadel, the duo are able to end the Sorcerer’s reign and restore the Citadel to its peaceful existence.

Featuring multiple modes of play, achievements, a robust social platform including global leader boards, interactive 3D models, and online multiplayer competition, ZEN Pinball THD continues the rich pinball tradition established by ZEN Studios, the definitive leader in pinball videogames.
