Rise of Isengard plans to make LOTR Online expand next fall

by: Chad -
More On: Lord of the Rings Online
Even though it now is available free-to-play, The Lord of the Rings Online still has big plans for the future.  Do you want proof?  How about a full expansion pack coming in Fall 2011?  Yeah, that's right.  The Lord of the Rings Online: Rise of Isengard expansion will increase the level cap to 70, include new traits, virtues, skills, and quests.  Additionally, players will be able to travel south into Dunland to face off against the forces summoned by Saruman.

There's a lot more going on in this announcement but keep in mind that this expansion will be available for purchase.  That means you will have to pay if you want all of this new content.  That seems fair to me.  Here is a teaser trailer to make the wait for more details even more difficult.  You're welcome.
