Lips: Party Classics coming to Xbox 360

by: Sean Colleli -
More On: Lips
I've never been a huge fan of karaoke but I guess I'm in the minority because the Lips series is pretty popular. iNis will be releasing a load of new DLC throughout the rest of January, leading up to the release of Lips: Party Classics. This collection of 40 party songs to embarrass yourself by drops on February 26th in Europe while alcohol-prone partyers in the US will have to wait until March 2nd.

It looks like iNis is going the Rock Band track pack route here--they even mention Rock Band and Guitar Hero in the press release after the jump. I know Cyril loves buying the Rock Band track packs and loading them onto his 360 hard drive and I'm not sure if he gets into Lips as well, but with bands like Spice Girls, KiSS and the Village People in Lips Party Classics this collection looks like it will hit the casual market right on the nose.
“Lips: Party Classics” Brings Singing Favorites Home Starting Feb. 26

Lips Music Store on Xbox LIVE also offering soul-soothing melodies from The Miracles and more in January

Grab a mic and ring in the new decade with “Lips: Party Classics” starting in February! The latest title in the “Lips” singing franchise that features the songs everyone loves to sing, will be available on Feb. 26 in select countries in Europe and March 2 in North America, exclusively for Xbox 360. A first for the franchise, “Lips: Party Classics” will work with popular USB microphones for even more singing flexibility, such as the ones that come packaged with most “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band” titles.

But you don’t need to wait until then for some new tunes in the New Year! With January’s Game Add-ons, everyone craving some old-school flavor can purchase a throw-back song pack from one of R&B’s legendary groups, The Miracles. You can also croon along to “Soul Meets Body” by Death Cab for Cutie, reminisce about times gone by with “Homecoming” from Kanye West feat. Chris Martin, and revel in fresh beginnings with “An Ordinary Day” by Vanessa Carlton. Treat yourself to January’s catchy tracks, available for download at 160 Microsoft Points each, with The Miracles and The Cardigans song packs up for 440 Microsoft Points each.
