Good thing we have a Wii... Build A Bear titles coming to Nintendo

by: Ben Berry -
More On: Build-A-Bear: Friendship Valley Build-A-Bear: Hugsville
My wife will turn 23 this month the same weekend PAX EAST makes its inaugural visit to Boston. Much like me when I walk into a Lego store, my wife reverts to about a 10 year old girl when we walk into Build A Bear. We She has a monkey, a huskie, and a lobster. The monkey has a tuxedo and came with us for the wedding.

I'm sure she'll be thrilled to learn that Activision is helping perpetuate the "stuffed animals dressed as people in a video game" movement with the release of unique Build A Bear titles for the Wii and DS on 3/23. Friendship Valley will be the title for the Wii release and Hugsville will be the DS game.

To be clear, we don't have a DS anymore, and even if we did; I'm not letting a game called "Hugsville" into my house. I have a feeling we'll be looking for a copy of Friendship Valley before too long though.

Hit the jump for the press release... if you dare.
