Get your standalone DJ Hero turntables now

by: Sean Colleli -
More On: DJ Hero
I thought it was cool that DJ Hero offered some multiplayer modes for cooperative or competitive scratching. I thought it was lame that you'd have to buy a second copy of the game just to get a second turntable. Sure you could but them straight from Activision but that was pretty expensive, and if you wanted to buy one at retail you were out of luck.

Well, that's not an issue anymore. The DJ Hero turntable controller is now available at retailers nationwide for $60, and the first 100,000 units contain a poster of the celebrity DJs in the game. I thought DJ Hero was pretty innovative and didn't get the attention it deserved. Hopefully more controllers and multiplayer will give the game a second wind.
