The United States Air Force is teaming up with Epic Games and Microsoft to promote the launch of Gears of War 3 by running the Golden Wings Week Promotion. Anyone who plays Gears 3 online between September 20 and 26 will unlock weapon skins for the Golden Lancer and the Golden Hammerburst.
Previously, these skins were only available to those who participated in the beta program this past April, but not any more. They will now be available to anyone who plays during the initial launch week.
