Games for Windows Live updated: yawns abound

More On: Games For Windows

I almost forgot to post this, as it certainly hasn’t been a high priority on my gaming list. However, Microsoft pushed out a Games for Windows Live update on December 15th (and felt compelled to announce it via email on 12/23, no one must have noticed) with a few things to supposedly make G4W easier. Included in the update were:

  • The ability to purchase full downloadable Games on Demand via the marketplace in the Games for Windows – LIVE client
  • Easier navigation of downloadable add-on content using the in-game guide
  • UI updates to the Games for Windows – LIVE client
  • Bug fixes

Granted, I am sure there are quite a few PC gamers out there (and probably many more after Christmas morning) that use the service regularly. However, if anyone has dabbled with the latest UI update (I haven’t loaded anything in my library yet), tell us about the pros, cons and your general feelings on it in the comments.
