Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 earlier today, but now we have an official date courtesy of the Lucasarts
Facebook page: October 26th. It looks like we'll get
Emo Star Wars 2 Unleashed 2 around Halloween this year, but to be honest I can't get very excited. I was pretty underwhelmed by the original
God of Star Wars Force Unleashed. Its combat was clunky compared to other games in the genre, its story made an awkward attempt at bridging the prequels to the classic movies and the whole "kicking a guy's ass with the Force" theme felt a bit excessive. Personally I'd like them to just jettison the whole Unleashed story and start on something new. Maybe they could hire Red Steel 2's Jason Vandenberghe to make a real lightsaber game for Move, Natal or Wii MotionPlus, the way he
suggested a while back.
