NetherRealm Studios has released the first gameplay footage of the next kombatant to join the
Mortal Kombat roster: Rain. The purple ninja will be making his way to both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next week, on July 19, 2011 for the usual price of $4.99. Rain will also be accompanied by the standard kompatability pack, though it is currently unknown which, if any, klassic costumes will be included in the pack.
