The original Yar’s Revenge still ranks as one of my favorite games of all time. Atari hopes that the original game’s magic can be carried over to a new generation with an updated version of the title.
The new version of the game is being developed for the Xbox Live arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC platforms. Yar’s Revenge, the modern version, is an anime inspired, third person on-rails shooter that is being compared by the developers to Panzer Dragoon and Star Fox. Sounds good to me... and looks good too...
