Nintendo: New Mario, New Wario, New Peaches, and remastered Luigi

Nintendo went all out yesterday, announcing pretty much their 2023 heavy hitters, and even left somethings out for 2024. After making the internet lose it's collective by announcing Super Mario RPG Remake, they then just kept going. They showed more of Pikmin 4 before it's July release, then shadow dropped HD upscales of Pikmin 1 AND 2. That now puts all 4 Pikmin games on the Nintendo Switch. 

They went all out on Pokemon, including DLC for Scarlet and Violet. The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will come in two parts.  and they will release Fall and Winter of 2023, respectively. and then out of nowhere, said "here's a new Detective Pikachu game. He likes his coffee! 

They talked about a Splatfest for Splatoon 3, Amiibo for Tears of the Kingdom and they also announced an unnamed Princess Peach game for 2024, plus the 3DS hit Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon gets an HD upscale. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe even got a trailer for Booster course pass Wave 5 DLC, which showed off a brand new track, and included Petey Piranha from Double Dash, Wiggler from Mario Kart 7, and Kamek from Mario Kart Tour. 

Even Wario got in on the announcements. A new Warioware game called Warioware: Move it was announced for a fall release. This is similar to Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, where you have to use your Joycon and body movements to win at over 200 quick timed mini games. There's also a 2 player couch co-op, and a party mode for up to 4 players. 

The last announcement of their presentation was a brand new 2D Super Mario Bros. game. It's called Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and it comes with a new art style, new presentation, and Daisy, Yoshi, Peach, Luigi and Toad are all playable. There was also a powerup where Mario becomes an elephant. There's also something called the wonder seed, which turns everything into chaos. It releases in October, and to quantify the excitement, this video already has 3.2M views.
