There are some gaming announcements that get you excited and there are some that leave you speechless. This is one of them. My jaw is still on the floor as I was not expecting this at all.
Hi Rez studios announced today that their hit MOBA, SMITE, is coming to consoles, and it's coming to Xbox One sometime in 2015.
I cannot be more excited and I am really hoping that your account info will carry over between consoles and PC even though they are on separate servers. This also could be huge for Hi-Rez as this is one of the first big MOBA's to debut on consoles.
Games like League of Legends and DOTA 2 might not work as well since you really need a mount and keyboard to play those games but SMITE is third person and uses WASD controls. Either way, I cannot wait to see how this turns out.
