Anyways, on the way home we stopped at Meijer, and they happen to be running a special on TV's. Specifically, a new line they are carrying. AStar. Normally, I don't buy electronics I'm not familiar with, but this deal was too good to pass up.
The 27" LCD HDTV was normally $799. It was marked down to $499, and had a $100 mail in rebate, plus a free DVD player at Point-of-Sale. So, a 27" HDTV built inanalog/digital tuner, HDMI, and 2 sets of composite inputs for $399 with a free DVD player.At the counter, the cashier asked "Do you have the coupon?"... "What Coupon, I replied?""The 20% off any one item this weekend coupon? Here let me get you one".The $399 TV became the $299 TV. So far, Crackdown and NHL 2k7 look pretty darn good on it.
