In an
interview with GI.Biz, THQ's Danny Bilson pledged that the company will be supporting the new motion technologies from Microsoft and Sony the day they are released. He also promised that the company won't be just porting motion games from one platform to the next which is good news and will probably be a hard promise to keep.
John and I got similar feedback from other developers at E3 this year and it looks like the new motion technologies are going to get real support from third party developers. Whether or not we see any actual good games for either system in the first year is the real question as developers are just now starting to figure out how to take advantage of the Wii control scheme (although you would hope this would help the developers rather than hurting them).
