We still don't know that much about Ride to Hell: Retribution
. Aside from some fisticuffs that may or may not be representative of in-game footage, a few brief glimpses of Jake Conway blowing things ups from his bike that look promising, and some truly hilariously terrible voice acting, we have not seen very much. Today's trailer follows that template. It's a bunch of what looks like non-gameplay sequences set to some decent sounding bar rock. Here's hoping it's all the result of poor marketing and not a calculated ploy to keep us from looking directly at Ride to Hell: Retribution
Whatever it is, you can go pick it up right now and see for yourself because it's out today.
Leap onto the saddle and prepare for your path of revenge: Ride to Hell: Retribution is now available
Larkspur, Calif., June 25, 2013 - This summer is going to be hot, as Deep Silver today unleashed Jake Conway's burning desire for revenge - the action game Ride to Hell: Retribution is now available across North America for the Xbox 360® games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Windows® PC and PlayStation 3. In Europe, the game will be available from June 28, 2013. Players who want to know what sparked Jake's anger should have a look at the launch trailer, which was also released today. The video available here: http://youtu.be/yH30imyOHDw teases the motivation for his pitiless fight against the brutal Devil's Hand biker gang.
The game soundtrack is also now available. The theme song, "Pressure and Time" is composed and performed by Rival Sons, winner of the Breakthrough Artist award at last year's Classic Rock Awards show in London, UK. The soundtrack contains 27 tracks, which were composed and performed by the team at Pitstop Productions, using real instruments to emphasize the game's Rock 'n' Roll attitude. The soundtrack can be purchased via Sumthing Else Music Works at www.sumthing.com/p/ride-to-hell-retribution/
Ride to Hell: Retribution tells the story of a lone rider, Jake Conway, a man with either a gun in his hand or a girl on his lap (and on more than one occasion, both!). He's on a merciless path of revenge against a brutal biker gang called "The Devil's Hand," armed to the teeth with an arsenal of deadly weapons to enact his vengeance on foot and on bike. The only law Jake answers to is his own. Hit hard, ride fast and leave 'em in the dust. Ride to Hell: Retribution is developed by Eutechnyx.
