Realtime Worlds has a new CEO and his name is Gary Dale

More On:
Realtime Worlds is an independent game developer and publisher that gained some fame, awards, and some fans, on its joint venture with Microsoft Game Studio titled Crackdown. Don't remember that game? Here's a reminder. It was the game that allowed players that didn't have an in already a way to participate in the beta testing for Halo 3 multiplayer. With the spiritual successor to Crackdown, All Points Bulletin, still in the works I was hoping for some big news about the game. I was slightly disappointed but just slightly. Gary Dale has been named the new CEO of Realtime Worlds. Hopefully Mr. Dale's expereince at Capcom and Take-Two will be put to good use in the internationally developed (offices in Colorado, USA and Dundee, Scotland) and highly anticpated APB. Of course all he has to do is manage two development sites on opposite sides of the Atlantic ocean, manage the transition from development company to developer/digital distributor, and figure out ways that they can compete in a market flooded with MMOs. Isn't making video games just the best job in the world? Good luck Gary!
