OC Team Switzerland messes with BlackOps

I had a chance to see the BlackOps board at CES with Foxconn and it's a pretty impressive looking piece of work. It's not out yet but OC Team Switzerland's got their hands on one and will be taking it through it's paces to push the board as much as possible. I'm really looking forward to this board to see what it can do with all the cooling options available.
Beijing, China, February 4th 2008 – You can’t buy it yet, but BLACKOPS looks set to become a prolific record-breaker even before it hits the shelves.

Based on a new enthusiast-class Intel® chipset, BLACKOPS was previewed last month at the CES Show in Las Vegas, and is now about to be put through its paces by OC Team Switzerland, who have been favored with a special delivery from the Quantum Force product development team.

The boffins and boffesses at Quantum Force headquarters have entrusted one of their precious samples to the Swiss, who it seems are not just famed for their neutrality, cuckoo clocks, army knifes and rich chocolates, but are rather keen on pumping up the bus on the front side and deep-freezing their processors.

The Swiss masters will put BLACKOPS through its paces at the time2wonder 2008 eSports and overclocking weekend taking place February 23rd-24th in Switzerland (full details below).

Members of OC Team Switzerland include splmann, gianni-gt and cicolino – all of whom will be on hand throughout the weekend to torture test and prove the latest Quantum Force creation, which includes the unique 4in1 Quantum Cooler for air/water/extreme cooling, as well as the all-new Quantum BIOS that has more controls and settings than a nuclear power station!

Talking of power, the 8 phase Digital PWM has been rated to provide ample power, even for the extremely extreme Swiss team, who will be looking to out-do FOXCONN’s own Peter “Shamino” Tan, who last month set a new record for running the complete 3DMark06 CPU test with perfect stability at 6GHz.

Two Quantum Force MARS motherboards will be up for grabs at the Time2Wonder weekend, which looks set to go off with a bang, metaphorically speaking.
