If you played Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 today you may have noticed something was missing. It turns out that for whatever reason, Treyarch has removed the Nuketown 24/7 playlist. Designer for Black Ops 2 David Vonderhaar had this to say about the situation on Twitter.

Double XP weekend is official over. That means Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 is as well. I know. RIGHT? Don't kill the messenger. +

Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 will be back for special events. You can always play it with your friends in Custom Games.

Needless to say people are NOT happy about this at all as the official forums are in disarray and David is receiving some angry tweets as well.

To be honest I can understand the anger. I have defended Call Of Duty for years and have never had anything negative to say about the series but to remove a map one week after the game came out is a scummy move. For months Treyarch and Activision claimed that you could only obtain Nuketown 2025 if you pre-ordered the game. Turns out there was a code for Nuketown already in the box so there was no need to pre-order. Then you remove a map that hundreds of thousands of people love a week after the game launches? Something isnt right here folks.
