EA Mobile has pushed another Madden NFL 10
update through the Apple approval process this week for the iPhone OS. It went live on 1/11 and adds a couple of free updates including the ability for multiplayer games played over Bluetooth to now be saved and resumed later. This is a huge breakthrough for iPhone OS gaming and I hope becomes standard on all iPhone multiplayer Apps.
The second is an all new “Playoff Mode” that features this season’s 12 playoff teams and let’ you battle through to the Super Bowl with any of the teams. The last update is an additional difficulty settling that was added at the behest of user feedback. Apparently, every game eventually becomes too easy, even on an unique control setting like the iPhone OS. The Playoff Mode (along with paid roster updates and alternate uniforms) are all available in the in-game store.
