Of the new products that Logitech is showing, I'm most interested in the wheel. Finally, a 900 degree rotation wheel will be available for the PC. Logitech's latest gaming mice allows both left and right handed people to frag with extreme precision. Finally, a new keyboard from the Logitech folks offer the style of the G15
minus the LCD display. Look for a review of these products as soon as we get them in.
Logitech Extends Award-Winning G-series Family of Gaming Peripherals
At the Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3), Logitech announced that it is extending its award-winning family of G-series peripherals with a trio of new high-performance gaming controllers. The limited-edition Logitech® G25 Racing Wheel will offer advanced features which, before, could be found only in specialized or custom-made racing simulators that sometimes cost thousands of dollars to assemble. These features include a six-speed gated shifter and clutch pedal; two high-torque force-feedback motors; an 11-inch wheel; and a full 900 degrees of rotation. The Logitech® G3 Laser Mouse will offer a compact, ambidextrous design — perfect for left-handed gamers or for gamers who use a claw-grip style of play — and Logitech´s gaming-grade laser mouse engine for extreme performance. The Logitech® G11 keyboard will include 18 fully programmable keys that make it easy for gamers to replace complex button sequences with custom one-touch commands, and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that provide backlighting for translucent characters on the keys. “Just as athletes carefully choose their gear for competition, PC gamers seek tools with the right features and the right fit as they prepare for battle,” said Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech´s director of product marketing for interactive entertainment. “With these new G-series peripherals, we will provide gamers with a wider range of peripherals that offer a competitive edge.”
