Limited edition announced for Metro: Last Light

THQ has announced that it's now taking pre-orders for the recently-revealed limited edition of upcoming Metro: Last Light. Following in the tradition of other recent game releases, the limited edition is basically the initial game that is shipped to everyone that pre-orders or shops in stores soon after its been released. With the normal asking price of $60, the limited edition will include the following content:
  • Retail copy of the game
  • “Ranger Mode," which was a later add-on released for Metro 2033 that made the game even more difficult and immersive
  • Ranger load-out that contains bonus military grade bullets for the purchase of weapon upgrades and equipment
  • AKS-74U modified Russian rifle
As further incentive for pre-ordering on PlayStation Network, a free digital copy of Homefront will be given to players on the game's launch date. Pre-orders on PlayStation Network will also instantly receive a free Metro: Last Light theme for their PlayStation 3. The Metro: Last Light Limited Edition will include a standard retail copy of the game with ‘Ranger Mode,’ the fan-favorite game type from Metro 2033 that represents the ultimate, immersive Metro experience. Additionally, the Limited Edition includes the Ranger load-out, containing bonus military grade bullets to spend on weapon upgrades and equipment, and the deadly AKS-74U modified Russian rifle.
