Microsoft has revealed that there will be three versions of Halo:Reach
when the game hits stores later this year. You'll be able to choose from the standard version (for those who just want to play the game), the Limited Edition (which will come in a special black box, a special Elite Armor set, and a bunch of back story content), and the Legendary Edition (which will include a statue from McFarlane Toys, super special packaging, and a special Spartan armor effect). The editions will cost you $59.99, $79,99, and $149.99 respectively.
Cats and toddlers worldwide are sure to be celebrating the fact that the game will not be shipping with a helmet themed container like the one that shipped with Halo 3
. I do have to admit the statue that ships with the game looks pretty sweet but I'm not sure it's $150 sweet.
Microsoft also wants to remind you that the Halo:Reach multiplayer beta starts on May 3rd so be sure to dig out that copy of Halo:ODST
or pick one up out of the bargain bin of your local game retailer.
