Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock to feature Slash

With Rock Band on it's way, Activision is firing a shot across Harmonix/MTV/EA's bow with a parade of hit songs and now word that Slash will be an opponent for a boss battle, and will contribute a new track specifically for the game. Sure you can only play guitar in this game, but with the Beastie Boys, the Stones, and Eddie Vedder and crew adding tunes to the game, it's going to kick some serious ass.

And while I'm not a huge GNR fan, I've admired Slash for years. I mean who else can pull off a hat like that? It's one of the most recognizable hats in the world, and would be a first ballot entry into the Hat Hall of Fame, were there one.
