Holy crap. This game is absolutely beautiful. Colin Johanson, game designer for Guild Wars 2
, calls it "visually stunning" and I completely agree. Enough of my drooling, though.
Take a moment to watch this video and see what NCSoft and ArenaNet want to do with Guild Wars 2
. The player actually affects the (beautiful!) world around it, combat that keeps the player involved, and quests that aren't just cookie-cutter errands. If the final product can deliver on just some of the potential here then this can shape up to be impressive.
