Reports were that those who wanted to sit and play Kinect
with their knees up were having issues with the camera detecting their movements. Some saw, it , some didn't. Well, you can rest assured (see what I did there?) that you'll be able to sit down and wave your arms like a mad man once you get the product.
Eurogamer has revealed
that Microsoft has changed the way Kinect
detects you now. Initially, the base node at which the system would generate the skeleton started at the pelvis. Microsoft changed it to start at the neck, so now all's right in the world of couch sitting gamers. It also helps with those lying on the ground, like if you wanted to perform a sit up or push up in exercise games.
Now, if they could just make it a little less laggy....
