The list of combatants included in EA's upcoming MMA fighter continues to grow week by week.  EA's official site for the game has added seven new fighters to the final roster, bringing the current revealed total to 17.  The recent additions to the roster are Cung Le, Gilbert Melendez, Robbie Lawler, Ronaldo Souza, Matt Lindland, Scott Smith, and Josh Thomson.  As the list of names continues to grow, it makes one wonder how serious these fighters are taking UFC owner Dana White's threats about blacklisting any fighter who agrees to participate in EA Sport's MMA.  So, let's look at who is already will to put Dana's threats to the test...

The following fighters have been confirmed by EA as appearing in the game:

Fedor Emelianenko
Randy Couture
Jay Hieron
Jake Shields
Nick Thompson
Gegard Mousasi
Renato Sobral
Gilbert Melendez
Josh Thomson
Frank Shamrock
Muhammed Lawal
Cung Le
Jason Miller
Robbie Lawler
Scott Smith
Ronaldo Souza
Matt Lindland

Randy Couture and Frank Shamrock, particular, have pretty strong historic ties to the UFC organization and it will be interesting to see if they are allowed to participate in the organization after participating in the EA project.  It seems as though there is already a pass being given to Randy Couture due to existing contract agreements between UFC and Couture.
