Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM 2 announced

Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM has only been out for a month and a half in the States, but Namco Bandai is already promoting Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM 2, scheduled for a hazy sometime-in-2009 release, though it's a viable guess that we're about ten months out.  But don't hold me to that -- I'm not exactly marking my calendar.

"Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM 2 takes the awesome power of Mobile Suits and combines them with the tactical action gameplay experience of Koei's Dynasty Warriors series for an all-out action brawl on distant planetary surfaces to the vastness of space.  Take on hordes of enemies with new attacks and Mobile Suits as new and returning characters fight for the greater good in exciting new stories."

These 14 new screens don't explain much, but the pics are variously labeled "Destiny," "Justice," "Freedom," "Turn," and "Wing."  I don't know.  It'll be out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the perpetual PlayStation 2.
