Crisis Core launch event

Square-Enix is hyping the release of Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core with a launch party at the Playstation Store in San Francisco.  Get there early, because attendance is limited to the first 200 people who show up.  They'll be holding a raffle and giving away some cool swag, and it looks like they're trying to rival the fan events that Nintendo holds at their New York store.  I'm beginning to wonder just how long Squenix can milk the FF7 name, without just remaking the game like everyone wants them to. Then again, that might be like remaking Mario 64.  Oh, wait...

Square Enix is Proud to Announce the CRISIS CORE™ -FINAL FANTASY® VII- Launch Event at the PlayStation Store @ Metreon! 

 

This event will commemorate the history of FINAL FANTASY VII and celebrate the release of CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- in North America.

The first 100 customers in line will receive a shirt commemorating the event so get there early! We’ll also be giving away some rare raffle prizes, including a limited edition lithograph and FINAL FANTASY merchandise! Shinra Company identification cards personalized with attendee’s name and photograph will be created on-site. Quantities are limited.
