Alice Cooper played the event, but I am most interested in the accessory bags, which of course are shaped like coffins. The official Casecore convention booth was alive with activity, including autograph signings with members of Alice Cooper’s band, Blasko. Coffincase held a private event for its special business associates, sponsored by music organizations such as ESP Guitars, Renkus-Heinz, Fuchs Amps, Affliction Clothing, Lava Cable, Pro Media, Shure, MDG distributors, Lektrosonic, Dean Markley and Monster Energy. The event hosted over 1000 guests and featured an hour long performance by Alice Cooper, as well as performances by Speed X, God Forbid and others. The ever popular Coffin Girls Fashion Show was also a hit during the NAMM Convention, even more so as the models handed out four ESP guitars to four lucky attendees during the show.
