has announced that, to go along with the release of the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham City
, gamers will be able to take their fandom of the series to another level by playing the game with a Batarang-style controller. These controllers are going to be unveiled this week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo
in Los Angeles, as expected. The controllers themselves are somewhat designed to have points and such to resemble the batarang weapon that Batman utilizes, but there are a couple of curious points that need to be asked regarding the design of the controller for both the Playstation 3
and the Xbox 360
. In regards to the PS3 model, the left analog stick and D-pad are swapped, making the controller look much more like the Xbox 360
controller. As for the Xbox 360
model, it seems as though there is only a wired option, judging from the pictures. These two points will most likely be addressed this week.
