Bandai announces .hack//G.U.

Bandai is heading back to the â€œ.hackâ€ universe with a brand new set of characters and a fresh story for the PS2. Those of you lucky to be at E3 can catch a preview of .hack//G.U.
at Bandaiâ€™s booth. For the rest of us, weâ€™ll have to wait until next year to see this one.

Best Selling Role-Playing Game Returns to PlayStationÂ®2
LOS ANGELES, CA â€“ May 18 2004 â€“ Bandai Games Inc. today announced â€œ.hack//G.U.â€ for the PlayStationÂ®2 computer entertainment system. Following the success of the four-volume â€œ.hackâ€ series that sold over 1.7 million copies worldwide, the latest iteration will feature a new cast of characters and an original storyline. Developed by Cyber Connect 2, â€œ.hack//G.U.â€ will launch in Japan and North America in 2006.
The world premier of the â€œ.hack//G.U.â€ teaser trailer will run in the Bandai booth at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) every day on 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM PST. Bandai is located at West Hall, booth #2216.
