You thought the EA/NFL deal was long? Well Activision and Marvel
have inked a deal that will keep Spider-man and the X-men games with
Activision through 2017 according to this
post
on GameGossip. I can't say that I'm disappointed or surprised by
this as Activision has done a pretty good job with both franchises
(I've really enjoy the two X-men Legends games the reaction to Ultimate
Spider-man seems to be positive). Hopefully they don't fall into
a creative rut like a certain other franchise that features a large
ex-NFL football coach.
